Frequently Asked Questions
Everything listeners ask us most often, in one place. If your question is not here, send it along through our Contact page and we will add it.
What is Magic of the Mouse Radio?
Magic of the Mouse Radio is a free, family-friendly internet radio station that plays Disney music twenty-four hours a day. It is run at Assumption Regional Catholic School in Galloway, New Jersey, and students in grades 3 through 8 help create the station’s written content.
How do I listen to the station?
Two ways. You can press play right on our Listen Live page, or you can install the free Live365 app on your phone or tablet and search for Magic of the Mouse Radio. The Listen Live page walks you through the app step by step.
Does it cost anything, and do I need an account?
No and no. Listening is completely free, and you never need to create an account, sign in or give us any information to hear the station.
What kind of music do you play?
Our library holds nearly six thousand songs and recordings: movie soundtracks and instrumental scores, ride and attraction audio, queue and background loops, and parade and fireworks soundtracks. See What You’ll Hear for the full tour, or Around the Parks for the park audio.
Is the station safe for children?
Yes. Everything in the rotation is chosen with families in mind, and the station is built for a school audience, so you can leave it on in a classroom, a car or a kitchen without wondering what is coming next.
Can I listen in the car?
Yes. The Live365 app works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so once you have the app installed you can start the station the same way you would start a podcast or a playlist.
Is Magic of the Mouse Radio connected to Disney?
No. The station is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company. We are listeners and students who love the music.
Who creates the station’s content?
Students in grades 3 through 8 write the articles you see across our Student Newsroom pages and our Blog, working in technology class under the direction of Mr. William Guerro, technology teacher.
Can I suggest a song?
Please do. Send your suggestion through our Contact page and tell us what you would like to hear. Suggestions are welcome from families, students and listeners anywhere.
How do I keep up with what is new?
New articles land on the Blog and across the Student Newsroom pages, and the station posts on Instagram as @magicofthemouseradio.
How can a student get involved?
Students at Assumption Regional Catholic School take part through technology class, where they pick a topic, write for the station and see their work published on the site. If you have a question about that, send it through the Contact page.
Still have a question?
Send it to us and we will answer it — and if other listeners are wondering the same thing, it may end up on this page.
