About Magic of the Mouse Radio
Magic of the Mouse Radio is a free, family-friendly Disney music radio station that streams around the clock, twenty-four hours a day. If you love the music of the Disney films, the songs from the parks, and the sounds you only hear while you are standing in a queue or watching fireworks light up the castle, this is a station built for you.
We are not a playlist. We are a real internet radio station, and everything you hear was chosen to bring a little bit of the parks home with you—whether you are working, cooking dinner, driving to school, or counting down the days to your next trip.
What You’ll Hear
Our library holds nearly 6,000 songs and recordings, and the rotation moves through all of it:
- Movie soundtracks—the classics, the modern favorites, and the instrumental scores behind them
- Ride and attraction audio—the music and soundscapes from the attractions themselves
- Queue and background loops—the music that plays while you wait in line and as you walk through each land
- Parade and fireworks soundtracks—the full show scores, start to finish
- Resort and lobby music—the calm, easy background music from the hotels
- Park ambience—the sound of the parks themselves
Because we pull from Disney parks around the world, you will also hear recordings in the languages of the countries those parks call home. A show from Tokyo, a parade from Paris, an attraction from Shanghai—it is the same magic, heard the way guests there hear it.
A Station Made by Students
Magic of the Mouse Radio is a student-produced station at Assumption Regional Catholic School in Galloway, New Jersey. Students in grades 3 through 8 help build and write for the station as part of their weekly technology class.
The students research, write, edit, and publish the articles you find on this website. They learn how a real website is built, how a story is written for an audience, and how a radio station reaches listeners. The station gives their classwork a real home and a real audience—which is a very different thing from an assignment that gets handed in and never seen again.
To protect our students’ privacy, no student names, photographs, or personal information ever appear on this website or on the air.
Safe Listening for the Whole Family
Everything on Magic of the Mouse Radio is chosen to be safe for children and enjoyable for adults. There is no explicit content, no talk radio, and no commentary—just music, park audio, and the occasional station identification.
Parents can leave it on without wondering what is coming next. Teachers can play it in a classroom. It is the kind of station you can put on in the car with the whole family in it.
